ONE QUESTION TO ASK YOURSELF

“Am I building the future I want, or am I letting my worries about the future shape my choices today?”

You

Take a moment to think about where your energy goes. Is it fueling the future you truly want, or is it tied up in reacting to what’s uncertain?

A conversation on exactly that question

During my stay here in Germany, I had a conversation with two incredible people about life, the world, and how uncertain everything feels these days. Midway through, one of them turned to me and asked, “Frederik, are you never afraid of what could happen in the future?” I paused. “I feel fear too,” I told them. “But instead of letting that fear lead, I try to focus on the future I want to create.” It’s about shifting from Zeitgeist—being shaped by the present moment—to Zukunftsgeist—allowing the future we envision to guide us forward. When we see fear as part of the journey, it becomes less about holding us back and more about motivating us to create a future that excites us.
